LocLoop is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, username, email, phone number.
• Content you post — listing details, photos, videos, captions, location.
• Usage data — which listings you view, like, save, and comment on.
• Location data — your selected location filter (not your live GPS unless you choose to share it).
• Messages and comments — chat messages between users, and comments you post on listings, within the app.
• Interest form submissions — if you tap "I'm Interested" on a New Project listing, we collect the name, phone number, and email address you provide on that form.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your listings to other users.
• To connect you with other users through chat.
• To show you relevant listings based on your location preferences.
• To review and verify posts before they go live — content found to be inappropriate is deactivated or deleted.
• To send you important app updates and notifications.

3. Who We Share It With

• Other users — your username, listings, and profile are visible to other users of the app.
• Listing owners — if you submit an interest form on a New Project listing, the name, phone number, and email you provided are shared directly with that listing's owner (and with LocLoop admins), so they can follow up with you.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider (supabase.com). Your data is stored securely on their servers.
• Cloudflare R2 — our media storage provider (cloudflare.com). Your photos and videos are stored on their servers.
• Google AdMob — our advertising provider (admob.google.com). Shows ads within the app and may use your device's advertising identifier for ad personalization, subject to the consent choice you make when prompted on first launch.
• Sentry — our error-monitoring provider (sentry.io). Receives your username and email address, along with technical crash and error data, to help us diagnose and fix issues tied to your account.
• Razorpay — our payment processing provider, once payments are live. Handles your payment details directly; LocLoop never sees or stores your card/UPI details.
• We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
• We do not share your data with any other third parties without your consent.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled, ensuring users can only access their own data. Media files are stored on Cloudflare R2 with secure access controls. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

• You can edit your profile information at any time from the Profile screen.
• You can delete your listings at any time.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings screen, or by contacting us through the Contact Us section.
• Account deletion permanently removes your profile and all your content from the app.

6. Children's Privacy

LocLoop is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete the account and associated data immediately.

7. Cookies and Tracking

LocLoop does not use cookies for tracking. We use minimal analytics to understand how the app is used in order to improve it. No personal data is shared with analytics providers. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to personalize the ads you see — you control this through the consent prompt shown on first launch, and can change your choice at any time in your device's privacy settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
